Role Overview: Real Health Uganda is seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Volunteer Fundraising Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping us secure the financial resources needed to continue and expand our impactful programs. As a Fundraising Manager, you will work closely with our leadership team to develop and execute fundraising strategies, cultivate donor relationships, and contribute to the overall sustainability of Real Health Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies:
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to create comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals.
    • Identify and explore diverse fundraising channels, including online campaigns, events, corporate partnerships, and grant opportunities.
  2. Donor Cultivation and Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and potential funding organizations.
    • Implement strategies to engage donors, ensuring their continued support and involvement with Real Health Uganda.
  3. Grant Proposal Development:
    • Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and international organizations.
    • Prepare and submit compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with Real Health Uganda’s mission and objectives.
  4. Event Coordination:
    • Plan and execute fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, to attract donations and increase community engagement.
    • Coordinate logistics, marketing, and participant engagement for successful events.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fundraising or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Knowledge of fundraising strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Passion for healthcare, community development, and making a positive impact.
