Growing concern of increasing Drugs & Substance abuse incidents in Uganda.

Drugs are cheap but help with addiction is not

Intense regulation on drugs in Uganda speaks of the growing problem of drugs and substance use, but finding help for addiction in Uganda, remains one of the most expensive in the world.

A single public mental health facility cries the burden of growing numbers of mental health cases as the remaining 9 registered mental health facilities continue to hike costs for care and treatment. This begs the question of who benefits from the rising drugs and substance abuse trend in Uganda.

We are introducing the Drugs and Substance abuse program to support people dealing with addiction and engage role players in the sector to improve mental health support services.
