Period: Nov-Dec 2020

As the COVID-19 pandemic ravages through Uganda, the hope of hospitals, pregnant women and teenage moms remains in efforts similar to the prompt support services provided by RHU and our partners. Between November 23 and 18 December, we carried out a project to distribute medicines to specific health centers that had challenges with accessibility and adequacy. This project was supported by The Third Doctors and RHU Consolidated fund.

Key Achievements:

  • Procured and distributed essential medicines and supplies to network hospitals and facilities.
  • Supported facilities such as Ikumbya Health Center, Seguku Health Center II, and Nabweru Health Center IV in addressing critical healthcare challenges.
  • Prioritized women and children’s healthcare needs, focusing on sexual reproductive health, malaria, HIV, and maternal health.
  • Initiated plans for a mental health program to address increasing mental health challenges in communities.
  • Collaborated with orphanages and community health centers to ensure access to medical supplies and services.

Financial Accountability: We are committed to transparency and accountability in fund management. Our detailed breakdown of revenues and expenses demonstrates our dedication to effective resource utilization and strategic planning.

Conclusion: At Real Health Uganda, our mission is to empower communities and improve healthcare access for all. With the support of our partners and donors like The Third Doctors, we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of Ugandan
