Since the lifting of lockdown measures in January, Real Health Uganda (RHU) has been actively engaged in addressing the multifaceted challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite significant hurdles, RHU remains steadfast in its commitment to improving healthcare access and promoting community well-being across Uganda.
RHU acknowledges and appreciates the invaluable support received from The Third Doctors (TTD), which has played a pivotal role in bolstering this particular project and many others. TTD’s partnership has enabled RHU to extend its reach and provide essential medical services to underserved populations under the “Changing lives through healthcare support & Development” project
Key project Activities:
Continued Focus on COVID-19 Challenges: Uganda continues to grapple with the far-reaching effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, including strained healthcare systems and socio-economic hardships. RHU remains committed to addressing these challenges by focusing on post-pandemic recovery efforts, strengthening maternal and child health services, enhancing mental health support, and bolstering community resilience.Conclusion: As RHU navigates through these unprecedented times, the organization remains grateful for the support of its partners, volunteers, and stakeholders. Together, we strive to build a healthier, more resilient Uganda, where every individual has access to quality healthcare services and opportunities for a better future.
